About the PBS Concert Special

Il Volo: Notte Magica

For one magical night beneath the stars in Florence, Italy’s incredible Santa Croce Square, Plácido Domingo* joins Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble of Il Volo in a new concert event – "Il Volo: Notte Magica." This 60-minute national PBS special celebrates the legacy of The Three Tenors, who have inspired Il Volo’s craft from the very beginning. Once again capturing the hearts of viewers, the young Italian artists take flight against the backdrop of the stunning Basilica Santa Croce, in front of a live audience of over 5,000. With the vision of reigniting the love for operatic music in people of all ages, the concert features incredible Italian arias, classical Spanish favorites and timeless English hits. In this humble and beautiful tribute concert, the trio shares one of the most influential performances of their lives.

*Please note that the Atlanta concert will not feature special guest Plácido Domingo, as seen in the PBS concert special.
