Studio A was decorated with festive Holiday tables and brightly adored accent pieces placed around the room. WABE staff and Cornerstone members and their guest mingled about while sampling soups, sandwiches a plate of seasonal desserts.
Fred Skey, Major Donor Officer, welcomed everyone and introduced WABE News Director, Michael Fields. Before joining WABE, Mr. Fields spent twenty years with NPR mainly in Washington D.C. Mr. Fields gave a brief bio each member of his staff .Then each individual gave a brief talk about their past experience and their current role in the News Room. It was a pleasure to place a face with each voice and to hear each of the News Staff speak about their past experience and enthusiasm to WABE.
