High Museum — the Allure of the Automobile
April 6, 2010
Over 60 Cornerstone Society members and their guest were treated to a delicious lunch in Studio A at WABE for an inside preview of the High Museum Exhibit: The Allure of the Automobile. Jonathan Boisjolie, Senior Manager of Group Sales, High Museum of Art delighted us with a photo presentation of the 18 of the world’s rarest and most brilliantly conceived cars. Mr. Boisjolie’s visual presentation traced the evolution of the motorcar, examining the contrast between European and American design, and significant changes in automotive styling and engineering before and after World War II. He also shared some history of specific owners of these unique automobiles and photos of the cars as they were off loaded into the museum. Mr. Boisjolie provided Cornerstone members additional interesting stories during the audience question and answer time.
