The Cornerstone Society

While Public Broadcasting Atlanta (PBA) is pleased to offer membership to all station contributors, hundreds of listeners and viewers support WABE 90.1FM and PBA 30 with a more substantial annual gift. The Cornerstone Society was established to recognize PBA’s most generous supporters, those who give $1,000 or more each year to make an impact on how PBA serves the community — on radio, on television, and online.

Ongoing funding is needed to meet the demands of a quality broadcast operation, adopt critical new technologies, including digital radio, as they emerge, and reach beyond the status quo to create and deliver programming that makes a difference in people’s lives. Cornerstone Society members are those individuals who play a vital role in maintaining these efforts and keeping alive an inspiring vision for the future.

Your support of $1,000 or more will help one of Atlanta’s most trusted and valuable cultural resources grow with the community. As a Cornerstone Society member, you will be invited to a monthly event called Insider Edition. At these events you will have a chance to meet national and local public radio and public television personalities, be on the inside track for programming on WABE and PBA 30 and station happenings, enjoy and learn about other cultural and civic organizations in Atlanta, and network with the group. Over the last year, some of speakers and programs for Insider Edition have been:

• PBS filmmaker Ken Burns
• Creators of From the Top
• Preview presentation of Annie Leibovitz exhibit at High Museum
• Evening at Horizon Theatre exclusive for Cornerstone members
