A Tale Of Two Murals

Who decides what art should exist in a public space? “A Tale of Two Murals” examines the situations that arose in two communities – in Southeast and Southwest Atlanta – following the annual “Living Walls” street art conference.

What resulted was a clash between art and community. The one-hour documentary explores the use of public visual space, and the delicate tightrope bridging art, community and government. 

UPDATE: In December 2015, a new mural was completed at Chosewood Park, the site of one of the controversial murals. Watch the video below to see what the mural looks like today.
