Imagine It! Children’s Museum of Atlanta

When thinking of museums, The Smithsonian may come to mind or maybe the High Museum of Art. Both museums however, may pale in comparison when you talk to a young child or adult who’s experienced Imagine It! The Children’s Museum of Atlanta. (CMA) Located at the corner of Centennial Olympic Park Drive and Baker Street, Imagine It! CMA, opened its doors in March 2003. It offers hands-on learning zones and exhibits for children to look, explore touch and discover as they learn about the world around them. Recently visitors to the museum learned about Chinese culture, history, and traditions when the exhibit Monkey King: A Journey to China came. The exhibit is based on the classic Chinese novel, The Journey to the West, written by a Chinese scholar some 400 years ago and has been one of China’s best loved stories for children and adults for generations.
