Richard Davies grew up in a fairly irreligious household in the 1950s—but then ended up spending his career as a United Methodist minister in Indiana. At StoryCorps, Richard told his daughter, Gwen, that the spiritual life was not always part of his plan—-but he always felt he was seeking something.
