Today, Sonny Poloche is a lawyer in Atlanta, married with a young son. But Sonny was just five when his family moved to the U.S from Venezuela, spending their entire life savings on the air-fare. It wasn’t the easiest transition. At StoryCorps, Sonny told his wife, Katie, about his first day of school in the U.S.
