Tishana Trainor & L’Erin Asantewaa
Today we commemorate Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgendered Pride month with a conversation by a woman who came out as a lesbian a decade ago after her marriage ended. By then, Decatur resident Tishana Trainor had two small children and no idea how to meet single women. So… as she told her friend L’Erin Asantewaa … Tishana set her sights on a lesbian bar called My Sisters Room that — at the time — was right next to an ice cream store. Recorded in partnership with All My Children Project.
