Claudine Forbes & Ronnie Wheeler
We hear from 42-year-old Ronnie Wheeler. For a few years, not so long ago, Ronnie found himself homeless after a medical problem cost him his job. He ended up living and then helping out at Atlanta’s Gateway Center. Through his work there, he met Claudine Forbes, a 22-year-old AmeriCorps volunteer. At StoryCorps, Ronnie told Claudine about one particularly difficult day he had, while homeless.
