Gaby Pacheco’s family moved to the U.S. from Ecuador when she was seven, without legal papers. She pushed herself to take college-level classes in high school. But an academic conflict before her senior year meant choosing between two loves.
Gaby visited the Atlanta Storycorps booth during a 1,500-mile walk from Miami to Washington DC to raise awareness about the issues facing undocumented young people. For more info on that project, visit here.
