Until recently, there had never been a commercial flight crew made up solely of African-American women. That changed in February 2009, when Rachelle Jones and Stephanie Grant co-piloted an Atlantic Southeast Airlines flight from Atlanta to Nashville—with African-American flight attendants also on board. A year later, Rachelle and Stephanie sat down to reflect on that first.
