Inspector Lewis becomes involved in a situation in which an aging rock star (Joanna Lumley) that was thought to be dead becomes the object of complaints when her hunting rifle disturbs the local Sunday service. The plot thickens when a teenage boy is killed after repeatedly being run over by a vehicle, and a connection surfaces between the murder and the rock star’s old band.
