Sean Bean stars as British soldier-hero Richard Sharpe, a rough diamond who has risen through the ranks of the army on the back of his brave exploits. Set during the Napoleonic Wars, this adaptation is based on the novels of Bernard Cornwell. A year after the battle of Waterloo, word from India warns that a local Maharaja is threatening British interests. Sharpe is sent on his most dangerous mission to date.
