John McFall
January, 2007
Artistic Director/Chief Executive Officer
Atlanta Ballet
John McFall has been at the helm of Atlanta Ballet for twelve years. With imaginative and innovative programming, he has inspired growing audiences. These audiences are among the youngest and most diverse in the Atlanta arts community. During John’s tenure, he has opened the doors to the Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education, which has already grown into the sixth largest dance school in the nation. Not only does the Centre train superb professional dancers, many of whom have joined the company, it also provides extensive outreach activities to enrich the lives of thousands of youngsters throughout metro Atlanta. John has stimulated collaborations with local area artists such as the Red Clay Ramblers, Indigo Girls, New Birth Missionary Baptist Church Choir and the Michael O’Neal Singers, as well as eminent artists from around the world. He is committed to building a distinctive profile for the Company with the highest standards, and to providing access to education that is unparalleled.
