Dr. Kenneth Bernhardt is Regents Professor of Marketing, Taylor E. Little Jr. Professor of Marketing and Assistant Dean for Corporate Relations at the Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University in Atlanta where he has been a member of the faculty since 1972.

Tireless supporters of the arts, Dr. Bernhardt has served on the Board of Directors for the Alliance Theatre for the past 22 years and chaired the Board from 1998-2000. Last year he was elected a Life Director of the Alliance and is currently serving on the Finance Committee, Marketing Committee, and Executive Committee for the Alliance. He is also serving on the Board of Directors for the Metro Atlanta Arts and Culture Coalition and the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta. He served on the Board of Directors for the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau for the past 15 years and serve on its Cultural Tourism Committee, its Executive Committee, and chair its Marketing Committee, having headed its Arts Marketing Workshop Series for 6 years ending last year. He also currently serves on the Advisory Boards for the Rialto Center for the Performing Arts and for Dad’s garage Theatre. In the past he has served on the Board of Directors for the Woodruff Arts Center and Theatre Gael. Kathy Bernhardt has worked as a volunteer for the Alliance Children’s Theatre for over 20 years and has chaired its major fundraiser, Christmas House, 3 times. She has also served on the Alliance Theatre Board of Directors for a number of years.
