Palmer Wells
April 2007
In 1996, Palmer Wells, producing director and co-founder of Theatre in the Square, assumed the role of producing director. Under his leadership the theatre has grown in size and notoriety, with plays that run the gamut from classic to controversial.
In 2006, Palmer was awarded the Georgia Arts & Entertainment Legacy Award…for this season, he has brought back a favorite from last year “Turned Funny” and a new play “Crooked” on the alley stage.
For his bold vision and commitment to theater in Atlanta, Palmer Wells exemplifies the spirit of a Lexus Leader of the Arts.
