We paid a visit to meet Matthew Kaminski, the man behind the keys.

Recently we had a conversation with H. about his show, how he got into jazz in the first place, and how you know when it really does have that swing.

Back in January, we covered the surreal soiree at the High Museum as they closed out their Dali exhibition. Among the crowds were all manner of strange circus acts—stilt walkers, contortionists, bizarre puppets, and a fire dancer. As it turned out, those performers were part of the Imperial Opa Circus. WABE’s Myke Johns paid a visit to one of their rehearsals, and brought back this profile.

The director of the show is Atlanta’s own Jasmine Guy, who spoke with WABE’s Lois Reitzes about the play.
