In 2005, the Alliance Theatre launched the Kendeda Graduate Playwriting Competition, a national program introducing student playwrights to professional networks while producing the world premiere of the winning student’s work. Ismail Khalidi of New York University was this year’s winner. He talked with WABE’s Lois Reitzes about his play, Tennis in Nablus.
