Atlanta Botanical Frogs
on Atlanta Sounds
For Dante Fenolio says his love of frogs started as a boy in the redwood forests of California. That love took him all over the world to places like Chile, Peru, Brazil and even as far as Madagascar. Today he is the Atlanta Botanical Garden's Amphibian Conservation biologist.
He says the world's frogs are disappearing all because of a disease known as the Amphibian chytrid fungus. But the conservation of frogs is made all the more important when you better understand their potential benefit to humans especially in some of today's new medicines.
