“Making Stuff”
Nova presents a four-part mini-series that investigates just how different materials are made. Part One is “Making Stuff Stronger”, which looks at the world’s strongest materials, including steel, spider silk, and carbon nanotubes. Part Two is entitled “Making Stuff Smaller” and profiles the latest in high-powered nano-circuits and micro-robots. Part Three is “Making Stuff Cleaner” and deals with how “cleaner” materials can be used to power devices of the future. And Part Four is “Making Stuff Smarter”, which looks at the growing number of materials that almost seem to be alive and think for themselves.
