“Deadliest Earthquake”

In 2010, epic earthquakes all over the planet delivered one of the worst annual death tolls ever recorded. Nova followed a team of geologists to Haiti in the immediate aftermath of the devastating quake that killed more than 200,000 as they hunted for evidence of what happened underground in order to assess the chances of a new killer quake. And, a month later, they traveled to Chili to evaluate the aftershocks of that quake, which was 100 times more powerful than the one in Haiti.
