Missing in Mig Alley
6:00pm
The world’s first jet war occurred in 1950, when Russian and American fighters clashed over Korea. The furious air battles between the American F-86 Sabre and the Soviets MIG-15 were centered in a strip of airspace between the Korean-Chinese borders known as Mig Alley. Flying faster and higher than ever before, the pilots had no idea of the dangers that awaited them should they be shot down. This program follows the efforts of family members to trace what happened to the pilots who disappeared more than a half-century ago.
