Afrisalsa“Switch partners all night and never get infected,” is the motto of the dance company, which uses multiethinic dance to teach “safe touch.” According to founder Anana Harris, people of all ages yearn for close contact with others. On the dance floor, she says, they can express this desire without the dangers of sex. The AfriSalsa fights HIV/AIDS Campaign is dedicated to spreading an alternative to high risk sexual behavior through the close contact fun of salsa. AfriSalsa fights HIV/AIDS Campaign offers free group salsa lessons to organizations interested in sharing the social, physical and emotional benefits of salsa to audiences of any age while educating them on the risks of HIV/AIDS. AfriSalsa fights HIV/AIDS Campaign targets, but is not exclusive to, the African American community based on the staggering statistics facing that community. Our campaign is also dedicated to reaching the youth and sharing the communication development and male-female relationship improving benefits of salsa. www.afrisalsa.com Check out these videos:
