Department: Television Programming
Report To: Sr. Producer
Summary

Job Description
You have a passion for non-fiction storytelling and the enthusiasm to find and shoot your own stories. You’re equally comfortable being the producer, working behind the camera or editing the story. In fact you prefer to do all three! You can make creative decisions on the fly and produce interesting and well executed features without a lot of equipment or help. You’re happy to be part of the team but just as pleased to do the whole thing on your own. You have the skills and motivation to complete work without supervision, and turn in a first class product to boot.
If this describes you we would like to see your reel.
We are a 3 person department with a small budget and limited equipment but we manage to turn out many diverse and interesting projects. These include two regular local shows, special documentaries, promos and underwriting spots for the sales department. We shoot on DV and HDV, edit on Final Cut Pro and upload the finished product to the master control server for broadcast. We are self motivated and willing to do what ever it takes to make a project work. Sometimes we shoot at night or at the weekend if needed. We take pride in our work and make sure that it looks as good as possible before being broadcast. We want the 3rd person in this team to have the same level of commitment and enthusiasm that we have.
